Professional Evaluation of your teeth and your mouth and Cleanings

Professional evaluations are an important part of maintaining your oral health. During your regular exam, we will:

Check for any problems you may not see or feel.
Look for cavities or any other signs of tooth decay.
Inspect your teeth and gums for gingivitis and signs of periodontal disease.
Perform Oral Cancer screening.
Perform a thorough professional teeth cleaning.

The time for your evaluation and professional cleaning is customized to your own unique oral health situation. Your professional maintenance visit includes a detailed teeth cleaning, during which we will clean, polish, and rinse your teeth to remove any tartar and plaque that have built up on the tooth’s surface. We also offer fluoride therapy for all ages to reduce the risk for tooth decay and tooth sensitivity.

A visit to our office at the recommended intervals ( 3, 4, or six months depending on the conditions of your gums) gives you the chance to ask Dr. Izadi any questions you may have about your oral health.
