Coronavirus Update: We Are Now Open!
Dear Patient:
As you know, our office has been closed since March 19th in an effort to flatten the curve for Covid19 in our community and to save our precious PPE supplies for our medical colleagues in the frontlines. Now we can once again obtain PPE from our suppliers. We apologize for the inconvenience that we know the office closure caused for many of you during the Statewide lockdowns. We will reopen our office on May 19 at 8:00 a.m. to our patients. On May 18th we are fully training our staff again.
Since we closed our office, the world has changed and so must we. Some things will remain the same:
- We will continue to involve you in your personal treatment plan & Dental care.
- We will continue to give you state of the art dentistry with the promise of always seeking the best new products and procedures.
- Finally, we will continue to give you loving & virtually painless dental care.
Here are changes that will stay in effect for the near future:
- We will no longer use the reception area to seat our patients awaiting treatment. Instead, we will be asking you to call us when you arrive, and we will allow you to enter when we are completely prepared for you.
- We have placed Medical Grade Air Purifiers in our reception area and the room we will be working in. We already have centralized air purifiers in our HVAC system.
- We will ask about your health before your appointment and on the day of your appointment to screen you for any Flu symptoms.
- We will ask you to use a hand sanitizer when you enter our office and your temperature will be taken using a no contact forehead thermometer. We strongly urge you to wear your own mask (it can be a cloth one) in order for us to preserve our very limited PPE’s for our team members.
- Before your hygiene or restorative appointment begins, we will ask you to swish & rinse with an ADA approved anti-viral mouth wash.
- Once treatment and clerical necessities are completed you will be escorted to the exit with your face mask on.
All of these safety precautions, including extra PPE for all of our clinical team including n95 & surgical masks, gloves, disposable gowns, face shields, and hair / shoe covers have been put in place to ensure the safety of our team and every patient we treat. PPE items are still in high demand and supplies are low. You will notice an extra PPE fee of $35 added to your dental visit to help offset this cost.
These safety measures also require more time at the beginning of your appointment. So, we courteously ask that you arrive on time in order to allow us to implement these protocols.
Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming you back and providing you with excellent dental care.
Sincerely,
Dr. Izadi and Her Team
